Global digital lending platform The Social Loan Company (TSLC) has announced the appointment of two key hires, aimed at strengthening its global leadership team as it expands into emerging and frontier markets.

The company has appointed Ziad Sawalha as Group Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Shagorika Heryani as Chief Marketing Officer. Both will report to Group Co-Founder and CEO Deepak H Saluja.

Ziad Sawalha joins TSLC from Klarna, a leader in Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) and brings over 20 years of experience as a global leader, innovation driver and technology transformation leader. At TSLC, Sawalha will focus on delivering the group’s technology vision, strategy and implementation, helping to build the fundamental pillars of data science, credit decisioning, R&D, engineering, solutions architecture and patents.
