Mcapital, Mswipe’s lending business, has announced the appointment of Tanya Chadha as Chief Operating Officer (COO), according to a statement released today.

With over 16 years of financial services and credit experience, she will oversee building a loan portfolio of Rs. 100 crore by March 2022. Her appointment comes as Mswipe prepares for a license NBFC. Joining the management team, she will focus on accelerating efforts towards technological innovation and driving a new product strategy and business growth.

Tanya brings extensive experience in the financial services and lending space and we are confident that she will play a central role in our journey to transform us into a digital SME bank, ”said CEO Ketan Patel.

She was previously Vice President – Loan Products and Business Processes at Mcapital.

She has a wealth of experience with secured and unsecured loans in functions such as credit, product management, alliances and sales. At her previous company RattanIndia Finance, she led consumer finance, including personal loans, small business loans, and loans on two wheels. She has also worked with leading NBFCs including HDFC, Kotak Mahindra Prime, and Capital First.

Based in Mumbai, Mswipe started operations in 2011. Its main investors are B Capital, UC-RNT, Falcon Edge Capital, Matrix Capital Partners, DSG Partners and Epiq Capital.
